A recent review of our extensive archival instrument collection has been undertaken with a view to freeing some space for new acquisitions. Certain duplicates have been identified and by offering these for sale we not only gain valuable space but also raise funds to invest in new equipment for Gem-A’s classrooms. Also to be included in the sale will be teaching equipment that is no longer in use including some very sought-after sodium lamps, diamond lamps and refractometers which will be of particular interest to our members and students.
